Mine lasted 2 months and it was gone. Don't expect a lot of help from Seagate. They claim its just a firmware problem but that doesn't seem to be the case. There are plenty of other hard drives out there. - don't waste your money on Seagate. The are probably trying to dump them all and hoping for the best.
