On the plus side, it DOES have GREAT range for bluetooth headphones, when playing my stereo into it, I can walk all through the house and yard! This review is from: MOTOROLA 89015J DC800 BLUETOOTH� STEREO GATEWAY (Electronics) This device works well with any Blue tooth pc antenna, it works automatically on windows XP and may require a bit of configuring on windows VISTA. The area it covers is excellent and the reception is crystal clear. In order to recieve the best reception for long distance 50' and over you must use a Class 1 bluetooth antenna because the device is also a class 1 bluetooth transmiter and reciver. This convination will give you the strongest signal/reception for both devices. Note that most cell phones usually are class 2 bluetooth devices and most built in Bluetooth Lapto antenas are also class 2. It will work but with closer distances.
