It also helped that there was only a $20 price difference (at time of purchase) between this and the similarly sized VS228H-P.After receiving them, set up was simple. There are some preset brightness/contrast settings, but I typically leave them off. The colors are spot on and the picture is great. Whether playing a video game or watching a movie, there is no ghosting or slow down. However, not everything is great. In the two original monitors I purchased, I found severe lightbleeding coming from the bottom left corner of the panel. This is only partially noticeable during normal usage and lighting, but anytime a darker image shows on the screen or the monitor is used in a low light environment, it is extremely distracting.
