Engineered with a durable powder-coated metal finish, rust-proof stainless steel hardware, and ABS resin blades, this ceiling fan will endure damp or wet locations both indoors and outdoors for years to come. The oil rubbed bronze finished base, mahogany finished blades in a tropical leaf design, and yellow alabaster glass bowl add a tropical ambience to any decor. The fan contains a three speed reversible motor and maintenance free double sealed ball bearings. The light fixture uses one 60-watt base bulb. Limited lifetime warranty. UL listed for damp locations.

The blades are not quite as dark of a mahogany as they are in the pictures. They are made of heavy plastic and the backs of the blades are not painted to match (ugly yellow). If you are placing this fan where you will be able to see the tops of the blades from somewhere, it would destroy the look you were after.My only other issue is that the paint is very tender and the primer beneath is a different color (ugly yellow again) so you have to be very careful when installing.
